Ulfhednar is a black metal band from Rome, Italy. Born from the Delirium Tremens band members, in 2014 they became Ulfhednar. After some changes in 2018 the band has stabilized their line-up. Ulfhednar have played in many shows all over Italy with many known black metal bands such as Dark Funeral, Mystifer, Malvento, Selvans and Forgotten Tomb and they released two studio album: "Mortaliter" (2017) and "Il Culto dell'Agonia" (2022), they also released a split album called "Obscura Liturgia" (2019).

 

The Ulfhednar's music is based on a non-canonical black metal, contaminated by death and doom metal elements mixed with persistent melodic interludes. 
The influences of the band goes from classic sonorities like Mayhem, Immortal, Naglfar and Ragnarok to a more modern sound like the latest albums of Shining, Behemoth, but also Melechesh, Second to Sun, Dark Fortress and ... And Oceans. Ulfhednar's black metal sound is evolving to create a dynamic and yet brutal music.
